4. Why can't I download or open a PDF file?The most common reason for experiencing difficulties when downloading or opening a PDF file is that Adobe Acrobat Reader is not installed. In this case, refer to question one. Another reason may be that the file size is very large or the Internet connection speed is slow. Try to save the file directly to your computer before opening it or refreshing the browser's cache. Many schools and other facilities use a firewall, proxy server, or other security features that prohibit downloading files. In this case, check with your local computer administrator for assistance.
